An excellent article on a fascinating subject. Swami Kriyananda said that when he meditated in the Great Pyramid, he felt a spiritual power that continued to build the longer he meditated. I felt something similar while meditating at Stonehenge. I wish we could know what Master himself would say about this subject. Thanks

I read Elizabeth Haich’s Initiation in the early 80′s while a Rosicrucian. Then when I read Yogananda’s Autobiography,and my understanding further broadened. In the mid-90′s, I joined Ananda, and learned about the Yuga’s. All of these teachings speak to the same true; that our earth has gone through continuous cycles of light and darkness, and places like the Great Pyramids are signs of higher intelligence being resident here long ago. To know in our hearts that the unseen is far more powerful then the seen, heartens me to the fact that Ananda and other mystical organizations are way ahead of contemporary science, thinking and culture. It’s good to be part of the evolving Consciousness of humanity.

Thanks for a great article. I’ve been mesmerized by the Great Pyramid for decades…maybe the most amazing aspect for me being the “air shafts,” and how they could have been chisseled out. I mean think about it. They had to mesh, from one huge stone to the next, keeping a straight–diagonal–line cut through these solid stones…one on top of another…describing an opening that is not that big, each upper stone needing to be perfectly placed on top of the one below it. All of course, with their “primitive” tools. Thanks again for a great article. Look forward to reading the book.
